We Offer
Currently Baptisms will be held on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
Please book at Vestry Hour.
These take place on the first and last Sunday of each month at 12:30pm. Generally we would baptise 3 Children (or adults) at each baptism Service
Confirmation
Please see Churchwardens if you are interested in being Confirmed.
This is an important point in the Christian journey at which you affirm yourself into the faith in which you have been baptised. Preparation for confirmation usually takes place over several sessions which can be arranged with the vicar.
Weddings
Many couples still choose to have a traditional church wedding and have God's blessing on their life together. These can take place on any day of the week but mostly on a Saturday. Here at St Bartholomew's we aim to do all we can to make your day as special as you want it to be.
Funerals
In conjunction with your chosen funeral director we aim to help you say goodbye to your loved ones in the most compassionate and sensitive manner. There is always support available to help you cope with your loss.
Vestry hour
This is on a Monday evening between 6pm and 7pm (except bank holidays) for booking Baptisms and Weddings.
Church Hall
The Church rooms are just in front of the Church and are available for hire for parties or group activities and is fully accessible with a ramp and hand rails, it also has a toilet and baby changing facilities.
Currently some of the evening activities are : Tai Chi (Monday) Art Group (Wednesday)
